A3 B-Tier. ESL Championnat National - Winter A1 1st. A4 C-Tier. European Championship I think smn, KQLY and Sf are "manual" VAC BAN.
Still think that VAC as not been updated. Sf smurfs are not VAC Banned. Really, so wait youre suggesting somebody who is dishonest enough to cheat their way to thousands of euro's is also dishonest enough to lie about doing it?
Obviously, good job for picking holes in his story so maybe people will now see him for what he is. How do you know that VAC doesn't keep a log of each player's history and bans retroactively?
Honestly I don't care if it was once or a hundred times, I have zero sympathy and will never support him or anybody that associates with him from now on.
Think of all the implications it will bring if he admits to all the tournaments he and his teams had won because of his cheating while he was in Clan Mystik, LDLC, and then Titan.
Do they get stripped of their "trophies"? Their prize money? Well, I don't really believe in KQLY statements, but there are some strange points in your theory.
So these are some things which bother me in your OP. So either :. Wasn't there some german dude who was caught cheating in CSS and after a few years or something he just got back into the competetive scene?
I think his nick is "kRYSTAL". He is playing for some pro team now and noone gives a shit about that cheating a while ago.
He already was cheating in 1. Most of the new gen pro's are hacker kids that only cheated to make such movie to gain fame and get the interest of highlevel teams, they realise it's hard to get into the scene even if you are good.
I don't believe they hacked for a highlevel team though. Cheating starts early on, not once your one of the best players in the world, you cheat because you suck and that's the only reason there is to cheat.
If you've ever strolled down to the VAC boards, you see the "i was just testing them" excuse all the time. Along with the "My brother used my account" and "I must have downloaded a virus.
Didn't he say in his FB post that he reached out to the cheater coder than in his interview he said that the cheat coder reached out to him?
I believe he said something about being set up with supex0 in his post but can't confirm atm. It'd be a stupid move to lie about this because everyone is pressuing valve to release information about the ban.
No one knows how the ban happened since valve isn't saying anything. The OP may be right but it's also a very dangerous move from KQLY to say this if it isn't true.
Some valve employee already came many times on reddit to posts about a random guy VAC ban to confirm the guy was really cheating at that moment.
What choice did he have? If he admitted to cheating recently, he casts doubt about all of Titan's results while he was on their roster. They won DH Stockholm.
Possibly with the help of KQLY using a LAN-proof hack. He was probably pressured by Titan to release that statement, even if it's obvious bullshit, and he may be covering his own ass as well as his team's if he had a clause in his contract about financial liabilities.
If he was possibly cheating during his time in LDLC, suddenly their Dreamhack spot is in danger, as well as their handy 22k winnings for reaching the semis at Cologne.
Basically, anything and everything he's ever touched in his career is suddenly dodgy, including all the results of his respective teams, unless he says his cheating was limited to a little casual testing for one week, months ago.
How is he in a worse position if some Valve dev comes and says "yeah KQLY was cheating in the days right before his ban"?
It only achieves the same as admitting it in the first place, namely making all his results look dodgy, not only hurting him, but also all his previous teammates.
It's not a dangerous move because there's virtually zero downside. The downside is that we find out someone that is a cheater lied.
Good god, who could of possibly foreseen that. He's banned GG he cheated VAC has never been questioned why would it now?
Oh whats that? ITS NOT. So GG bye thanks for screwing over the CS:GO scene for 5 minutes. Injecting does not require any modifications to any of the base binaries.
This makes a lot of sense, from his statements as soon as he was found out it was obvious he was trying to paint it as the most innocent and naive use of a cheat possible, this is because he knows Valve's policy is not to comment on others accounts and so only his side of the story will be seen.
I mean who cares? It's like "hey i cheated on a other account, im not a cheater on my main account". I don't get that excuse. Imho thats some kind of nasty behaviour.
Even if he just was curious. In the end he cheated. Plain and simple: he cheated. Plot twist: Gabe banned them so close to DH:W so they wouldn't win because he's lost too many skins on betting against them.
Cheaters are known to be pathological liars, on the internet aswell as in real life if they have a life. I know 4 people from the scene in Belgium around that have been cheating alot, they get VAC banned, socalled dissapear from the scene but actually having a new account with fake alias and come back to the scene, and when they really want to attend a LAN for fun they change their nickname because people are going to see their face anyway on LAN.
Those 4 got banned every years, they couldn't stop cheating, they tried but after realising they suck hard they just cheat again.
All those 4 are also known pathological liars in the community and in real life as I know 2 of them personal because of 's of LAN's b4. One being in jail right now after stealing from his own grandma's sandwichbar where he worked halftime in the summer only, he was addicted to gaming and hasn't worked before age Most cheaters in online games are also cheaters in real life, or going to be, they are mentally ill and have the need of attention because they don't receive it in real life.
But hey, why robbing a bank and having a huge chance to go to jail, when you can get the same money while cheating in CS e-sports and never going to jail when getting busted right?
It's a criminal's heaven right here. It's only a mather of time before the Italian Maffia plays CS ;-. They lie about everything and will say the most extreme lies and kill other people's reputation just to save their own ass, they would even probably hurt their own parents so some people believe their lies as it makes them feel better and superiour, they don't realise they are mentally unstable or disturbed, they have no shame, that's why these cheaters also just stream again after getting VAC banned, they don't care, they have no emotions and don't realise anything.
Or, you know, they cheated because they wanted to and it was an easy peasy lemon squeasy this is bandit country kill everything that moves way to make money fast.
He also comments on how his performance lowered once players knew his style. Which I read as "this is why I tried it". This could imply he used it at pro events, not just one week.
Furthermore, it seems he did go up in performance and it is not like pro players forgot how he played. Don't know.
It's sad overall, in particular when you think of legit players that could have won and betters that lost money.
Wouldn't that make it pretty impossible to cheat? What am I missing? It is getting time for some legal consequences. They are getting k in stickers and potentially play for k And this is exactly why they cheat.
Bigger and bigger cash prizes make people take bigger and bigger risks to get the upper hand. He was hitting some nice, ScreaM-like headshots and saying that he shouldn't be hitting these headshots now because he's gonna get VAC'd in jest, of course.
He is keeping his emotions under control but he just said that he had to let out some emotions off screen. Understandable, considering how much this affects ScreaM.
God the awkwardness of being at a gaming house and getting VAC-banned. It'd be like being at the workplace and your boss walking into the middle of the floor and saying that he knows you've been masturbating into the potted plant every day and you're fired, all within earshot of every other employee.
In the future, CS:GO will be played entirely by bots. Teams would be who can program the best bots to fight the other team's bots. That would actually be a kind of neat programming challenge or something where both teams make their own AI or something then have the bots fight.
Yeah I second that. They're the one team I consider to be a shining light of competitive good sportsmanship It's easy to look flashy when you hack.
Here is hoping that olofm was just a victim of 16 tick demos then. Otherwise I second NiP, C9, VP at least. Can you give some links? I don't really follow anyone on twitter, would like to read the reactions.
What if the "kukli style" USP shot only worked because he had some kind of nospread during ESL or was it EMS?
Like someone else in this thread said. What if fiff was the only guy in the whole pro scene not hacking? Everyone has an undetectable cheat that shows the location of only Fiffy and aimbots and triggerbots only target fiffy.
They took advantage of all of the negativity against him and if he died from a cheater no one would think otherwise and would think that it's normal because of the shitstorms.
It would be very ironic if the number of pro cheaters out there had something to do with NiP losing so many games recently. Dear Fans, As of today CET, we regret to inform you that we were forced to temporarily suspend Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian from our active CS:GO roster.
We are currently in contact with Valve in order to investigate what might have caused this and we will keep you informed as the situation develops.
Stay tuned! Another thing i want to point out in this blog is the players in question this is information leaked by smn - i am only writing it in here ;.
This is serious. It this becomes true, it has the potential to ruin the whole CS scene for a long time.
Maybe this will be a wake up for Valve to get their heads out of their asses and hire a proper anti-cheat team. Yeah, and right when it started gaining momentum too..
If Fnatic are involved I will be so disappointed. Kioshima traded away his inventory. He probably also cheated and is expecting to be banned next.
He also deleted his twitter. If the cheat used was a workshop exploit, I suspect Valve can reverse trace who subscribed to it.
This is all speculative, but wouldn't it be nice if all these cheaters dug their own grave by subbing? It'd be sweet, sweet justice.
Too bad if there's one cheat like this, there's probably more HE DIDN'T GET UNBANNED: perma link. Btw, motar2k has donated like 1 or 2k?
Chargeback incoming. OKAY heres the deal. According to DH rules a VAC banned player can not participate.
